Senior Analytics Engineer, ASE

Apple’s Enterprise team is looking for an experienced data science product analyst to join our growing Enterprise team. As a data scientist focused on product analysis, you’ll be in a highly dynamic and collaborative role that is integral to setting product strategy and direction. You’ll use a broad base of analytical skills and techniques to surface substantial business insights and communicate these results and ideas to key decision makers within Apple.
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years in an analytics or data science role, ideally focused on B2B SaaS products
- Experience choosing metrics and setting goals for product teams
- Experience running A/B tests and a strong foundation in hypothesis testing
- Experience with data visualization and exploration tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- Expertise in SQL and a high-level programming language for analysis (e.g., Python or R)
- Understanding of statistical modeling techniques and machine learning methods for data science
- Exceptional written, visual, and verbal communication skills
- Independent, proactive, and collaborative working style
Description
This role works on an embedded basis with product teams across the full product development lifecycle. Depending on the stage of the product, the day-to-day will include:

Performing and presenting ad-hoc analysis to develop understanding of our products

Collaborating with product managers and marketing teams to set metrics and goals for products

Collaborating cross-functionally to identify reporting requirements and ensure the vital data is accessible

Building reporting and visualizations

Using machine learning techniques to identify key areas of opportunity

Building models to forecast growth, capacity requirements, etc.

Planning, designing, and analyzing A/B tests
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
Advanced degree preferred

The base pay range for this role is between $161,700.00 and $284,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
