Free Resume Review

Honest, specific feedback tuned for analytics engineering roles. AI-powered and matched against live openings on our job board.

What you'll get

A structured review that reads your resume the way analytics engineering hiring managers actually do:

  • An honest verdict — a straight read on where your resume stands. No "72/100" score: a number like that is false precision, so we don't pretend otherwise.
  • ATS and recruiter-scan check — whether your resume parses cleanly, and what a recruiter sees in the first seven seconds.
  • Your top fixes, in priority order — each one names what's wrong and exactly how to fix it, pointing at your actual resume, not generic advice.
  • A rewritten bullet — your weakest high-visibility bullet rebuilt to lead with impact, using only facts already on your resume.
  • Matched open roles from our board — currently active analytics engineering roles that fit your level and stack, each with a note on why you fit and what to tighten. If there's no genuinely good match, we say so instead of stretching.

And that's just the first pass. Your review email leads with what matters most, but the full review usually goes deeper — more fixes, more bullets worth rewriting, more matching roles. When there's more, we'll tell you exactly how much (real counts from your review, not manufactured scarcity). Reply to the email and we'll send the rest — free.

How we review

Advice from field experiments, not vendor scare stats. Most resume advice online is folklore. Our rubric leans on the strongest evidence available:

  • Employment gaps genuinely hurt callbacks — shown in a field experiment with ~12,000 resumes — so gap framing is a first-class fix, not an afterthought.
  • Relevant experience beats credentials — an experiment with real employers found relevant work moved hiring interest while generic jobs added nothing — so we weigh what you've done over where you studied.
  • ATS mostly rank and filter; they rarely auto-reject — per Harvard Business School research — so our ATS advice is about getting ranked, not dodging a rejection robot. (You may have heard "75% of resumes are rejected by ATS." That stat traces back to a 2012 sales pitch from a company that shut down in 2013. We will never quote it.)
  • The one-page rule is folklore — recruiters actually preferred two-page resumes for experienced candidates.
  • Seniority is read from your work, not your title — calibrated against public analytics engineering career ladders, so the review (and the role matches) reflect what your bullets demonstrate.

A few things we hold ourselves to: rewrites never invent numbers — missing metrics become placeholders for you to fill in. Your name and photo never factor into the review or the matches. And reviews are AI-generated, so treat them as a strong second opinion rather than the last word.
