As such, we're always seeking out new contributors whose work demonstrates innate curiosity, a bias toward simplicity, an eye for composability, a self-service mindset, and most of all, a deep empathy toward colleagues, stakeholders, users, and patients. We believe a diverse team builds more robust systems and achieves higher impact.
Beacon's robust asynchronous work practices ensure a first-class remote work experience, and we also have in-person office hubs located in Boston, New York City, and Paris.
What success looks like:

- Build interactive dashboards and automated scientific reports to surface analytical insights to Beacon’s customers
- Leverage Beacon's biosignal data warehouse to power our productized analytics by developing and maintaining data models and transformations that put biosignal data in a clinical context
- Accelerate Analytics Suite product development by improving developer tooling and automation
- Collaborate with scientific subject matter experts, product managers, and customers to identify high-impact scientific and analytical methods to build into data products that accelerate therapy development
What you will bring:
- You've worked at the intersection between data producers and data consumers, and have experience developing data models and transformation pipelines on top of platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks
- You consider the inclusion of documentation and testing to be table stakes for any contribution
- You've developed, versioned, and maintained SQL transformations to deliver reproducible analytic results in a production setting
- You're familiar with using business intelligence front-ends (e.g., Superset, Tableau, Looker, etc.), or other data visualization libraries to distill complex information into products that deliver actionable insights
- You have deployed automated analytics pipelines to a production environment, monitored their performance, and maintained them over time
- You are a strong collaborator, and you're excited to work closely with multiple teams to achieve Beacon's analytics product goals
- You're good at communicating asynchronously, and strive to get the most out of synchronous collaboration
- You are familiar with or excited to learn about developing standardized analytics pipelines for clinical trials or other medical applications that leverage data organization, transformation, and statistics
- You're familiar with or are excited to work with the technologies that power Beacon's analytics products, including dbt, Snowflake, Superset, and more!
