The Branch Data Environment

Branch has a unique approach to data and business analytics that makes them differentiated in the market. All data is carefully managed through an ETL tool into a cloud data lake.  Branch is in the process of implementing a third party software to provide version control and automated testing support for maintaining SQL scripts that organize and process information within the data lake.  The data team then shepherds the organization, documentation, and visualization of the data for end users to utilize.  Use cases range from core Accounting / Finance infrastructure, daily KPI reporting in all business units, automation implementation, and core data product feature enablement.  Data analysts work with departments to process requests, drive insights for the business, and build out many of the use cases from the data lake through end deliverables. Product managers work adjacent to the architects and analysts to shepherd requests from end users and ensure that the end result of requests are being achieved.
