This high-impact role balances engineering best practices with business requirements to deliver reliable, performant data that can scale with our growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain Cameo's DBT environment for data transformations and ELT processes.

  • Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to track business performance and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for data-driven optimization across different business functions, including fan and talent acquisition and growth.

What you bring to the table:

  • 3+ years of analytics engineering or data engineering experience, with a strong focus on data warehouse modeling.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience optimizing complex queries.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling concepts applied to modern data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
  • Advanced DBT engineering experience: maintaining large-scale DBT projects, materialization strategies for optimal performance, modular transformation with macros and packages, and data testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD practices for data.

  • Nice-to-have: Proficiency building dashboards and visualizations in Looker or similar dashboarding tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma, etc.).
