Analytics Engineer
Develop well-defined, integrated, reusable data sets which power analytics across the enterprise. Duties include: build automated, scalable, test-driven ETL pipelines; perform logical and physical data modeling and extend data models by adding new metrics; codify reusable data access patterns to accelerate insights; utilize software development practices such as version control, CI/CD, and release management; build data products using various visualization, business intelligence (BI), and data science tools; collaborate with Data/DevOps Engineers to identify improvement opportunities for DataOps tools and frameworks; work with Data Scientists and others to implement and scale advanced algorithms to solve healthcare, operational and quality challenges; contribute to enterprise data governance standards, and educate and support colleagues to ensure that data is used appropriately; implement data quality frameworks and data quality checks; define an analytical product roadmap to improve business outcomes; and maintain data quality via monitoring, testing, and automation.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any applicable field and 3 years of experience, or alternatively a Master’s degree in same and 1 year of experience. Experience must include building automated and scalable data pipelines, implementing release management using CI/CD tools (Git Actions, Jenkins), and using Epic electronic health record (EHR) system and Epic data models (Clarity, Caboodle) and IBM Netezza.
