We’re looking for an experienced analytics engineer to help us spin up our analytics stack for Permission Slip, a mobile app that helps users take back control of the data companies have about them. The consulting project will involve recommending and implementing an analytics solution which helps us better understand user behavior and trends in how data rights requests are being sent and fulfilled. The consulting engagement will span 2-3 months of work and is available to begin immediately.

  • Design and implement a comprehensive app telemetry strategy.
  • Evaluate our current database schemas and their sufficiency to inform questions about Permission Slip’s success and future direction.
  • Integrate our existing PostgreSQL tables with a data warehousing solution, such as DataBricks, to enable analytics.
  • Prioritize privacy-by-design principles in your approach.
  • Recommend tooling integrations for user behavior understanding and business intelligence, keeping in mind the need to prioritize privacy-preserving technologies and lean implementation.

About you:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience implementing end-to-end product analytics solutions.
  • You have knowledge of the current landscape of analytics tooling.
  • You have experience with DataBricks integration and PostgreSQL.
  • You are comfortable implementing logging in React Native.
