That is why we are hiring an Analytics Engineer to join our expanding Data team and take on responsibilities building and maintaining our foundational data infrastructure as well as driving a data-driven culture.
This is a high-impact role within the organization, with the opportunity to operationalize the most important business analytics and create best processes surrounding analyses.
This role is eligible for hybrid reporting (3-4 days a week) in our New York office.
How you’ll contribute
First and foremost, we are a mission-driven company, so a passion for what we do and our mission is key. At a high level, the role encompasses these areas:
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines from various sources
- Create accurate and robust data models using DBT and LookML
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define & measure key business metrics; help build standardized reporting & dashboards
- Develop robust QA processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
What you'll need to succeed
- You are interested in the health and wellness space, particularly sleep.
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering or a similar role
- Expert in SQL and database table design on cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience using Data Build Tool (dbt)
- Strong experience building and maintaining robust data models & warehouses
- Experience using business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau to communicate business insights (Looker preferred)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional partners to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
- Experience leading enterprise wide data projects, structured and unstructured, joining large and complex data sets
