As a data-driven company pursuing an IPO we’re looking for an Associate Analytics Engineer, to be primarily responsible for ensuring business continuity for the data product at ezCater. The ideal candidate will have a love for all things data, a drive for improving data assets and a desire to deepen their knowledge by gaining exposure to a wide variety of high priority, business-facing Data Engineering challenges. The Associate Analytics Engineer will work closely with senior data engineers and business stakeholders to monitor and enhance our data product as well as define and implement process and monitoring improvements.
What You'll Do:
- Timely response to answering questions about our data with stakeholders from across the business including Engineers, Marketers, Business leaders, Data Scientists and Analysts
- Capture, prioritize, diagnose and resolve/escalate reported issues and requests
- Monitor nightly and hourly jobs for success and remediate when necessary
- Collaborate with Data-tech team to ensure escalated issues are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner, keeping stakeholders informed
- Identify monitoring and process improvements, recommend updates and drive to implementation
- Maintain internal knowledge base
What You Have:
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, ELT process, and enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure.
- Proficiency in SQL is required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- An open minded and willingness to be flexible. We have a large and complex business, and believe in driving real value out of every project we do.
- Our stack consists of: Snowflake, DBT, Kubernetes + Docker
- Any experience with the above is a nice-to-have, a desire to learn is a must.
- A sharp mind, a soft heart and a large funny bone
The national cash compensation range for this role is $85,000 - $108,000 per year*
