Analytics Engineer [Contract]

The contract duration is 3 months. The salary range for this role is $75/hr.

We are looking for an Analytics Engineer to help us in designing, implementing, and optimizing our dimensional data model to support our analytical and reporting needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your expertise in DBT and Snowflake to streamline data workflows, ensure data accuracy, and empower stakeholders with actionable insights.

Your responsibilities will include:

Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
Design and implement dimensional data models in Snowflake using DBT, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and transformation processes.
Implement data governance and quality control processes to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Document data models, transformations, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain data lineage and documentation standards.

You’ll be a good fit if:

You have at least 5+ years of experience in a data engineering role building products, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
Experience with Snowflake, Fiveran, DBT, and SQL.
Strong foundations in SQL, data modeling and system design.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and can work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
You are proactive and self-motivated, and can work independently to identify and prioritize opportunities for optimizing and improving our data pipelines and infrastructure.
