We are seeking a dynamic Analytics Engineer to join our team as we launch a new data warehouse to enhance business data capabilities. You will be at the forefront of a major transformation, designing and implementing data solutions that will drive our company's growth. Responsibilities:
- Buildthe Data Warehouse:Contribute to designing, building, and optimizing a scalable Snowflake data warehouse that empowers teams across the company. Your work will directly empower teams across the company to harness the power of data.
- Develop with DBT: Lead the creation and maintenance of reliable and well-documented data models using DBT, shaping transformation pipelines and delivering organized datasets.
- Deployment: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of data pipelines and DBT models.
- ETL/ELT Mastery: Architect efficient and scalable ETL/ELT processes that ensure timely, accurate data flow, making raw data business-ready.
- Be the Data Advocate: Collaborate closely with data analysts, scientists, and business teams to meet their needs and drive faster, smarter decisions.
- Optimize for Scale: Ensure Snowflake is high-performing and ready to handle growing data volumes with efficient queries.
- Champion Data Quality & Governance:You'llimplement rigorous data quality checks and ensure we meet governance standards—because great data leads to great decisions.
- Document & Share Knowledge:Foster a data-driven culture by maintaining transparent documentation for all pipelines, models, and processes, ensuring continuity and team collaboration.
- Drive Creativity: Stay on top of the latest trends and technologies in analytics engineeringand bring new ideas to advance our data architecture.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an analytics engineer, data engineer, or a similar role, with proven success in building scalable data systems.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in DBT for data modeling and transformation.
- Deep experience with Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses), including performance tuning and scaling.
- Advanced SQL skills—you’ll be writing and optimizing complex queries like a pro.
- Airflow and Python experience is a plus.
- Data Engineering Expertise:Strong experience creating and optimizing data models (e.g., star or snowflake schema), ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Collaboration & Communication:Translate complex technical details into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Version Control: Comfortable using Git and version control practices to manage code and collaboration.
- Problem-Solver: Creative thinker who can solve complex data challenges with agility and precision.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau.
- Knowledge of data security best practices, especially handling sensitive data .
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran, Stitch) to streamline data movement.
- Proactive & inquisitive mindset to take ownership and deliver with a high attention to detail.
