About the Role:
The role involves managing the organization's data warehouse, including connecting new data sources, building workflows for analytics and reporting, and providing operational support. It focuses on delivering data as a product, ensuring cost efficiency, optimization, automation, quality, performance, and user experience. The position requires implementing automated solutions for creating and monitoring data pipelines, as well as supporting various teams with data marts and visualization tools. DataOps practices are applied across the data stack, and regular office hours are hosted to assist users with automating queries, analyses, and reports. Additionally, the role involves identifying cost-saving solutions for compute and storage while staying current with industry standards for modern data management.
About You:
You are a data powerhouse with a degree in a quantitative discipline and 6+ years of hands-on experience in data warehouse implementation and management. Armed with deep expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran, Airflow, SQL/Python, APIs, and cutting-edge DevOps tools like CI/CD pipelines, you’ve mastered modern data stacks to drive innovation across R&D, manufacturing, and industrial automation. Exceptional communication, a knack for SCADA systems, and proficiency in data visualization tools like Mode and Grafana equip you to turn raw data into actionable insights. You thrive in fast-paced, high-energy environments, fueled by a passion for the transformative power of data, and are eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
