Analytics Engineer
As an analytics engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Human API’s data infrastructure and analytics pipelines. You’ll work closely with our product, data engineering, customer success team, and other stakeholders to understand the data needs of the organization and develop solutions to meet those needs.
What you'll do
- Owning analytics from question to answer, for example characterizing datasets and modeling them so the interfaces to data are more accessible to stakeholders
- Making our analytics layer scalable by maintaining and consolidating definitions and models and ensuring analytics can be self-serve where possible
- Collaborate cross functionally to understand our teams and customers’ data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Implement data governance and security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our customers’ data.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and other visualizations to understand and gain insights from the data.
- Develop and maintain documentation for our data infrastructure and analytics pipelines.
About you
- Strong business acumen to be able to understand data and messaging needs situationally, and for different teams
- Strong technical skills in areas such as database design and management, and data modeling.
- Proven depth and breadth of expertise in SQL and data querying, in general.
- Experience with various online analytical processing (OLAP) and Big Data reporting systems.
- Experience with database schema design, query optimization, development of ETL / analytics / reporting systems desirable.
- Comfort handling large and complex datasets.
