We're looking for a talented Analytics Engineering Lead with extensive experience leading a team of analytics engineers to build solutions for large scale analytics problems.  We build cutting edge analytics environments at Mammoth Growth and focus heavily on planning.

As an Analytics Engineering Lead in a rapidly growing team environment, you will work with a variety of exciting high growth businesses designing their future data environment. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, sharpen and broaden your skills in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

We do our work in a modern data stack environment, working with the best tools in the industry:  dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Fivetran, Stitch, Hightouch, Census, Github, AWS, GCP, and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Design the technical needs and make data architecture decisions
  • Guide the team through task breakdowns, and level-of-effort analysis
  • Design and build new ELT-based data models using SQL and dbt
  • Act as the standard for quality and excellence for the rest of the team
  • Lead the debug and troubleshoot effort
  • Lead modern DevOps workflows such as source code and code reviews
  • You will be the go-to expert in the room
  • Do what it takes to move the project toward its goals

What You’ll Need

  • Mastery of SQL
  • dbt experience
  • Cloud-based data warehouse experience ( Snowflake / BigQuery / etc)
  • In depth knowledge of modern ELT data architecture best practices
  • Ability to think through technical details from business requirements
  • Experience with project management practices
  • Experience with engineering principals
