Junior Analytics Engineer (Blockchain)
It’s an exciting time to join Metrika! A Series A-funded startup in growth-mode with teammates across the US, Canada, UK, and Europe, we are building the world's premier platform for blockchain risk management and compliance. We define blockchain risk as any risk that jeopardizes the operational health and viability of a blockchain network. Metrika works with financial institutions, blockchain protocols, and regulators to help them identify, measure, manage and monitor blockchain risk.
These are the early days of our platform, and as an Junior Analytics Engineer you will be able to contribute, influence and take ownership in a number of initiatives. You will become a domain expert in a variety of blockchain networks/protocols, maintain existing blockchain networks/protocols on the Metrika Platform, and work with our Product and Engineering teams to refine and build new data features.
If you have a strong background in programming, databases, data analysis, and would love to work with an international, distributed team, join us! No prior experience in blockchain is necessary, but an interest in learning and being deeply immersed is. You will gain blockchain expertise in this role!
What you will be doing:
- Data ingestion, dashboards, reports and alerts: Build robust data ingestion services, create aggregate data sets and scripts to calculate synthetic derived metrics, develop and QA dashboards for blockchain communities, and support integration of all the above into the Metrika Platform
- Research blockchain protocols to evaluate metrics/KPIs that are needed to improve operations on the network and identify data sources to collect metrics
- Cross-functional collaboration to work with Product and Engineering teams to refine and implement new product features
