Analytics Engineer II

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Data Reconciliation Team. As an Analytics Engineer, you will work with cloud-based application deployment platforms, including Forge, and various Python applications. Leveraging your strong Python coding skills, you will play a crucial role in developing the core service that provides data to the data reconciliation team. You will be responsible for building the data models that underpin our critical operational and strategic data-driven decisions. You will report to the Manager of Data Analytics.
You Will:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements, outline measurable analytics outcomes, and create comprehensive documentation outlining the product specifications.
- Create and and support analytical models that solve complex business problems
- Assists in solution design efforts (i.e. analysis, data warehouse design, architecture) and understands the data warehouse or data marts implementation related to BI.
- Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management required for building BI applications and reports.
- Communicates technical concepts to non-technical audiences both in written and verbal form.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts for streamlined deployment processes.
You Have:
- 3+ years as an analytics engineer or equivalent
- Knowledge of logging, error handling, and familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Experience in dimensional data modeling, ETL design, implementation and maintenance
- Expert in SQL, git, and a programming language (ie Python, Java, etc)
- Experience with Airflow, Snowflake/Redshift, Spark
- Experience with analytical model development and deployment processes
- Familiarity with AWS products and services
