Starting Salary: $75,000 - $97,750. Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
As an Analytics Engineer for RVO Health, you will tackle instrumentation, schema creations and data modeling across multiple business stakeholders. You will work in partnership with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and other Analytics Engineers to provide data solutions across both HIPAA and non-HIPAA digital assets. You will communicate, support, and strategize with business, tech, and data teams stakeholders. You will play an integral role supporting the Data Team’s effort to build, maintain and grow a Looker Center of Excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build and optimize the Looker semantic layer
- Design, develop and automate high-quality, scalable solutions across the entire data lifecycle
- Leverage extensive data modeling knowledge to design and deliver best-in-class analytics-ready datasets
- Provide expertise and guidance on setting up a HIPAA compliant Looker environment to support multiple HIPAA compliant and non-HIPAA businesses across the enterprise
- Partner with data engineers to define, build and improve our internal data infrastructure
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with Looker implementation, leading/driving the project and taking the implementation to completion
- 5+ year’s experience working with Data Warehouses (eg. Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- 2+ years of LookML and Looker-specific experience
- Experience maintaining and debugging LookML code, building user-friendly Explores and defining caching policies
- Experience optimizing queries, data modeling layer and LookML for report performance
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of data development processes and agile methodologies
- Experience with the initial implementation and maintenance of Looker in a HIPAA compliant environment
- Experience supporting and automating reporting infrastructure and deployment pipelines (Looker, GitHub, pull request process)
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Python and/or Scala for data analysis
