Analytics Engineering Manager (Enterprise)

SeatGeek builds software that powers the ticketing operations of some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment. We’re looking for an analytics engineering manager to lead a multi-function team delivering the tools, data, and insights our clients need to run their businesses.
In this people management role you will develop and hire a team of BI analysts and data/analytics engineers. You will own delivery of our reporting products. You will continually analyze how we can use our data to empower our clients to make better decisions.
What you’ll do
- Manage and grow a cross functional data, analytics, and engineering team
- Lead your team in building ETL/ETL pipelines in a cloud environment
- Partner with our enterprise clients (sports teams and leagues, theater companies, and venues) to understand their business and where our data can add additional value
- Create reporting products to empower our enterprise clients to be more data driven
- lead by setting context and facilitating collaboration between product, design, engineering and business leaders
- Provide regular job performance feedback, hold one-on-ones, and provide career development support to your direct reports
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in analytics or engineering (or a combination of the two)
- 2+ years in a people management role
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with modern BI tooling (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
- (Preferred) experience in a client or customer facing role
