Analytics Engineer (Remote)
As an Analytics Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver well-defined, transformed, tested, documented, and code-reviewed data sets to end users. You’ll work on a wide variety of data-related projects including: lead and implement product analytics projects to enable Selfbook to gain valuable insights on how our products perform, perform data modeling to effectively ingest analytics data into our data warehouse, create BI dashboards and reports to empower our business stakeholders with data-driven insights, and assist with troubleshooting product analytics tracking and other BI issues. In short, you will contribute to Selfbook’s rapid growth by helping to build out a powerful data analytics platform using the best cutting-edge technologies available.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and implement analytics projects to enable data-driven decision making
- Develop and maintain Selfbook’s data layer and Segment tracking events to enable insights into how our products are performing
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Sisense, Mixpanel and Google Analytics
- Perform data modeling to accurately and effectively ingest analytics data into our data warehouse and other destinations
- Assist with troubleshooting analytics tracking issues and other analytics-related issues
- Work closely with stakeholders to come up with creative solutions to enable their data requirements
You’re Right for the Role If…
- You are an expert in Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics and have a deep understanding of data layers
- You have knowledge and experience working with Segment or another customer data platform (CDP) such as Klaviyo, Insider, etc.
- You have experience with Sisense or another data visualization tool such as Tableau, Looker, etc.
- You have experience with Mixpanel or another product analytics software such as Amplitude, Pendo, etc.
- You are familiar with SQL and Javascript
Nice to Haves
- Digital marketing and/or hotel industry experience
- Knowledgeable with Snowflake or another data warehouse such as Redshift, BigQuery, etc.
- Experience using dbt to create data models
- Experience with Github or another version control system
Expected salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 a year
