The Analytics Engineer is responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions which streamline workflow and digitally transform the Operations department at Cepheid. There is opportunity to expand scope to support other departments outside of Operations, work with the latest available AI technologies, and learn new skills on the job. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Analytics Engineering & Data Science and is part of the IT Business Enablement and will be fully remote.

In this role you will have the opportunity to

Communicate complex and controversial analytics and findings to non-technical business stakeholders using clear language, visualization, and other means
Participate in cross-functional projects within a formalized Business Enablement organization which supports the broader Operations organization (supply chain, manufacturing, quality)
Develop new applications and business process which precede data analytics
Make autonomous decisions about which methodology and technology is used to accomplish higher-level objectives

The essential requirements of the job include

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant field
2+ years job experience in data analytics, data science, biotech industry, supply chain, or manufacturing
Demonstrated ability to apply operational business practices and coordinate with other closely related areas to improve efficiency

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
